How to never feel confused about your social media strategy again
When I started playing the content âgameâ around 2 years ago, I encountered the same problems over and over again:
Writerâs block
Donât know what to post about
Donât know what I want my brand to stand from
This made me more unproductive than a beach lifeguard in Norway during December.
But then, I learned about the concept of a Content Strategy:
A Content Strategy is a document that describes your brandâs social media strategy so you know what you should post about - and what not.
Itâs like a North Star for your solopreneur content that you can go back to when you feel lost, confused, or distracted.
For me, I found that the minimum viable Content Strategy contained 3 broader content topic (like âsolopreneurshipâ) for each of the 3 content types I used, like this:
Content type?
Embrace your confusion for just 1 second, because Iâll explain my 3 content types to you now:
3 proven content types to grow, engage, and monetize your audience
When I was in Kieran Drewâs private mastermind, he taught me about his 3 âcontent pillarsâ for creating magnetic content.
I later refined the following content types for myself:
1) Growth content - to get eyeballs
This is the type of content that goes viral on social media all the time:
It contains relatively basic information, doesnât provide any unique value, but thatâs precisely why it works so well:
Itâs beginner-friendly content that promises a âquick fixâ. For example:
ChatGPT has been dethroned.
AI Chrome extensions are now at the forefront of AI.

While it may look tempting to go all-in on growth content, donât do it.
Cause when you build your brand 100% on growth content, you wonât get any true fans, and it will be hard to monetize.
2) Knowledge content - to get fans
Knowledge content educates your audience on something specific.
This balls-deep content teaches your reader one of 2 things:
a) How to get something they really desire (like home-made Neapolitan pizza)
b) How to avoid something they really donât like (like taxes)
This content works because when you you solve peopleâs problems, they start liking you.
Example:
Academia will never be the same.
Bard's academic research abilities are insanely powerful.

3) Authority content - to get rizz
Authority content makes your audience trust your expertise.
Because even if someone knows & likes you, they wonât buy from you unless they trust in your ability to help them.
Common ways to do this are:
Sharing testimonials
Sharing achievements
Sharing other social proof
Sharing extremely-specific knowledge content
For example, I used a stunning achievement to build authority in my latest waitlist announcement:
I grew my Twitter from 0 to 100k in 65 days using AI.

Prompt: Create an award-winning Content Strategy with the Cocky Content Strategizer
This prompt creates a custom Content Strategy matrix for you based on the 3 proven content types:
(tutorial below)
I want you to create a Content Strategy for me.
A Content Strategy is a document that describes a brandâs social media strategy so it know what to create content around - and what not.
Itâs like a North Star for the brandâs content: itâs specific enough to serve as a guiding and reassuring document, but vague enough to leave some room for intepretation.
The brand I want you to create a Content Strategy for is [GIVE CONTEXT],
To create a content strategy, I want you to imagine a Content Strategy Matrix with an x and y axis.
## On the x axis, you have the 3 proven content types:
1 Growth content - to get eyeballs
This is the type of content that goes viral on social media all the time.
Itâs contains relatively basic information, doesnât provide any unique value, but thatâs precisely why it works so well:
Itâs beginner-friendly content that promises a âquick fixâ.
2 Knowledge content - to get fans
Knowledge content educates your audience on something specific.
This actionable and informational content teaches your reader one of 2 things:
a) How to get something they really desire
b) How to avoid something they really donât like
This content works because when you you solve peopleâs problems, they start liking you.
3 Authority content - to get rizz
Authority content makes your audience trust your expertise.
Because even if someone knows & likes you, they wonât buy from you unless they trust in your ability to help them.
Common ways to do this are:
* Sharing testimonials
* Sharing achievements
* Sharing other social proof
* Sharing extremely-specific knowledge content
## on the y axis, you have my 3 content buckets, the things I talk about:
1 [TOPIC 1]
2 [TOPIC 2]
3 [TOPIC 3]
â
Now, I want you to create a Content Strategy by filling out the matrix.
Fill out the matrix by applying each of the 3 proven content formats from the x axis to the 3 content buckets on the y axis.
The output should be formatted in a table, so that each resulting matrix field has a **bolded** headline describing it, with 2 sentences below explaining the component of the content strategy.

Fill out the [GIVE CONTEXT] placeholder with information about your brand & what you want to talk about

Itâs getting hot here in Cyprus. My diet now consists of 90% watermelon shakes (with a LOT of ice cubes). This is the boy band foto of the most iconic summer trio:
Me + watermelon + my beloved Vitamix blender.
The melon fell down when I tried taking this pic, itâs all messed up, LOL.
Keep diving,
Ole
