Never run out of great content ideas ever again...
Read time: 9 minutes
Greet from the deep,
It’s the AI Solopreneur here - the AI newsletter that teaches you to leverage AI for your business, lifestyle, and, occasionally, how to prepare award-winning pesto.
Today, we’ll talk about an advanced ChatGPT prompt that makes sure you never run out of content ideas again.
(don’t worry - I promise these ideas won’t be repetitive, generic, or plainly suck)
Let’s d-d-d-d-dive in! 🤿
Introduction
Why should you bother creating content in the first place?
At the end of the day, all business comes down to 2 things:
1) Creating an offer
2) Getting the offer in front of people (traffic)
Today, we’ll talk about the second.
See, even if you had the world’s sexiest offer…
(like delivering home-made pesto to AI newsletter writers in Cyprus, I’d buy that)
…if no one knew it existed, you wouldn’t make any sales.
In other words, any business needs traffic to make money.
While there are dozens of ways to generate traffic…
…the cheapest method is to build your personal brand on social media.
If you stay consistent with it for 6 months, I guaranteed you will have:
An audience of potential clients
Invaluable contacts
A yacht (well, maybe that’ll take 8 months..)
…IF you stay consistent.
The #1 challenge of building a personal brand is finding content ideas that attract the audience you want.
Or rather, it used to be the #1 challenge…
SUMMARY: WHY CONTENT MATTERS TO SOLOPRENEURS
To earn money as a solopreneur, you need 2 things:
1) An offer, a
2) A way to drive traffic to that offer
The cheapest and most reliable way to create traffic is by building your personal brand
But to stay consistent with your personal brand, you need a process to generate high-quality content ideas
ChatGPT prompt: Never run out of great content ideas again
This prompt helps you to generate unlimited content ideas for your brand:
I need your help with generating ideas for my writing.
I am a Twitter creator who talks about [WHAT YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT].
My primary goal with my content is to [EXPLAIN YOUR GOALS].
My offer is to [DESCRIBE YOUR OFFER]
I don't talk about [ANYTHING RELATED TO YOUR NICHE THAT YOU DON'T WANT IDEAS ABOUT].
My [NUMBER] most successful threads were about:
[INSERT 4-6 WELL-PERFORMING CONTENT PIECES OF YOURS]
I also have these constraints for my writing:
- All threads need to be ACTIONABLE, INSPIRATIONAL or ANALYTICAL.
- All threads consist of 5-7 body tweets
[ADD ANY CONSTRAINT YOU WANT]
Please come up with 40 thread ideas that all include 5-7:
- Hacks
- Tips
- Steps
- Lessons
- Benefits
- Reasons
- Mistakes
- Examples
- Questions
- Comparisons
- Personal Stories
How the prompt works:
1) Based on your input, ChatGPT assesses your current:
Offer
Goals
Skill set
Situation
Target audience
2) You add your 4-5 top-performing posts. This gives ChatGPT a sense of what content works for you
3) It generates 40 content ideas based on the 11 proven formats
Here’s an example of the input I fed it, and the content ideas it gave me:

How to use the prompt
This mini-guide will give you questions & examples of how to give context for ChatGPT’s content ideator
1) How to provide helpful background information
If you look at the prompt, there are 3 vital pieces of content you need to give it:
1) Share what you want to talk about
What, specifically, do you want to write about?
Be. As. Specific. As. Possible.
Example:
Instead of saying:
“I write about personal development and investing”
Say:
“I write about how young professionals can use psychological strategies for personal growth to skyrocket their career, and how young professionals can use long-term investment techniques in the stock market to save up money to buy their first pesto factory”
2) Describe your goals (with the content)
What specific outcome do you want to get out of posting content online?
Examples:
My goal is to…
…build an engaged audience of web3 marketing professionals and increase my website's traffic and engagement.
…build authority in the AI space to generate leads for my offer.
…attract a larger audience and increase my website's traffic and engagement.
3) Illustrate your offer and benefits
Describe your offer as detailed as possible.
Include information about your target prospects.
What do you sell?
Who do you sell it to?
How do they benefit from your offer?
Example:
Instead of saying:
“I sell AI Consulting”
Say:
“I offer AI consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses in the technology sector. My target prospects are companies that are looking to leverage artificial intelligence to improve their operations, enhance decision-making processes, and optimize efficiency. By partnering with me, these businesses benefit from customized AI solutions tailored to their specific needs, expert guidance on implementing AI technologies, and ongoing support to ensure successful integration and maximum ROI“
4) What you don’t want to talk about
Use this part of the prompt to exclude any subtopics you don’t want to talk about.
For example, I’m an experienced crypto investor and pesto connoisseur, but I don’t know much about trading stock options, which is a related field.
I would then write:
“I don’t talk about stock options”
2) Prime your content output with the right reference
Sharing successful content gives ChatGPT guidance on what works.
Recall your best-performing content using Twemex.
If you haven’t published anything yet, just use 5 top-performing pieces from an account you want to be like.
3) Adjust the 11 proven methods depending on your needs
Note that 11 proven formats in the prompt aren’t fixed.
You could adjust them based on your content and audience.
Example:
If your audience craves analytical breakdowns of industry trends, emphasize "Lessons" or "Examples."
Or, for busy professionals seeking quick advice, prioritize "Hacks" and "Tips."
